Long Time No See....

Goodness me. It has been ages since I peeked into my own blog. Some of you might have thought that I died or something.... It's ok, it's my own fault neglecting my online friends.
So life goes on for this averagely-paid civil servant... Only three interesting things happened since my last post;

1.  My Kia was sent to the workshop thrice. Three different cooling tubes leaked and sprayed for three consecutive weeks. I did some minor repairs of my own but they weren't good enough and I was afraid that my car would explode if I didn't send it to the workshop. Strangely, I was not really worried for these series of unfortunate events, and I cannot even explain why I felt so.

2.  After posting my email address at one obscure site, I began to receive a tremendous amount of junk mails and fake proposals from around the planet. I got VERY FEW emails which arrived from people who genuinely seeking friendship. I say, the age of internet KILLED a lot of innocence and well intentions.

3.  I traded two of my handphones (an Acer beTouch and a Nokia C3) for a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro. A cute smartphone, but it can drain a lot of battery before midday! I still have my LG Cookie and it is now used to replace my now not-reliable alarm clock.

And now.... the political fires in school were burning high again and this time I didn't start them. This happened when many teachers realized that they didn't get enough appreciation from the administrators as they thought they should (low marks in performance score). Many teachers were angered and started to question the powers-above and as I expected it to happen, they were not satisfied by the answer.

Dirty politics. When the undeserving got a lot more advantages than honest working dudes....

Happy Independence Day Malaysia!

I consider myself as a bloody patriot, easily goes to flame when hearing / witnessing any insult against the country or what it stood for. If it was up to me, SEVERAL individuals would be deported out of the country, their assets seized and many many more thrown into jail with the key conveniently tossed into the Straits of Malacca.

History is the best teacher. The fall of mighty empires always started from within. I hope the rest of the good citizens of Malaysia realized this. And the foolish bastards who created chaos and discord among the people, I hope you lot rot in Hell, and your names printed in our school history books as traitors to the Motherland.

See, I just set myself on fire again. :)

Tomorrow, the 31st August is the 52nd Independence Day. Malaysia Boleh!

Kill Me If They Can. Mwa Ha Ha Ha Ha!

Oh-kay. I am defying the ban they set on me, not to put their pretty faces on the net for the whole wide world to oogle. Mwa ha ha ha ha. I just don't care.

For your info, yours truly IS not in this photograph because he was the one  holding the camera. Furthermore, I was the only one not wearing red during Teacher's Day, because that's what I am - someone who swim against the flow.

Mission Accomplished : Mount Presents

Today is Teacher's Day in school. And I arrived in school much later than usual brandishing two digital cameras (my own Sony-H3 and an Ixus) because I am the school un-official photographer. I love taking pictures, and I am VERY good at it (not the pictures taken with my mobile phone though, those are of low quality). I began the morning with taking candid pictures of the teachers all over the school.

I am sorry. But these old female teachers THREATEN to kill me if I put their pictures in my blog. And they will check frequently. :( *snif* There goes my opportunity to make fun on other's expenses.

Anyhoo (as the Australians would say), the reason for this entry is.... YES, I ACHIEVED A MOUNTAIN OF GIFTS ON MY DESK!!! MWA HA HA HA HA HA HA!! 1 000 x  The secondary objective to make the other teachers green with envy was also successful.

And they accused me of forcing my students to give the presents. Ok, ok, I admit I did the dastardly deed last year. But this year (if you follow my 'Words from An Educated Psychopath') I only ask them what they wanted to give me. It's a huge difference, right?

Ok, enough gloating for now. I have a snippet of my students' 'dikir barat' during the performance for teachers this afternoon. Hope you like them. :) [Sorry for the lousy sound. I was sitting at the very front, on the steps, next to the huge speaker]

Oh, and I will take a photo of my presents tomorrow (if none were stolen).

Plans For World Domination During Teacher's Day.

Our school, heck, Teacher's Day will be celebrated all across Malaysia only this Monday. I have an evil plan brewing and I hope it will come to full fruitation on that day.

I always get the most presents among teachers, and I never fail achieving that goal every year.

It's so priceless watching the envy on the senior and older teachers.

"I've been teaching in this school for so long but I never had that many," the senior teacher who sat next to me mentioned, looking at the hill of presents on my desk - last year.

And I have a good feeling history will repeat itself.

p.s. - I love getting presents, no matter how cheap. It's the principle. So I am not thinking asking for them is a bad thing, ha ha ha ha ha!

On Bribes.....

This afternoon my mom returned from her UMNO branch meeting feeling a bit unhappy. She was bewildered because our State Minister, Datuk Seri Ali Rustam was barred from contesting the UMNO deputy president post in the next party polls. He (or his people) was said to be involved in money politics.

Well.... I have no comment on that as I do not know the guy personally. But he did create a lot of opportunities and Malacca is indeed developing under him.

Political upheavals seem to be the latest trend in the country. Government and opposition parties are clamouring for publicity; condemning and accusing one another, clawing for power and the promises it brings...

Wake up you bastards!!! The country need stability now than ever. When you crazy fuckers are screaming who's wrong and right, people are losing their jobs and the price of goods is rising!

My mom said that this would never happen under Dr M. He was the cat, no TIGER who ruled the house and made the mice obey. But now... under a new (but will retire soon) cat, the mice and even RATS have came out and play.

We miss a strong leader...
