I did some math this evening and found out my BMI (body mass index) was 26.6. Meaning I am beyond 25, the optimum number, and also MEANING that I am fat! My weight for the time being is 72 kg and I should reduce it to 65 to get out of the overweight realm. But this will prove to be very hard.... I love to eat, not excessively of course. And nowadays, I go out almost every night to see my friends and the main activity we indulge would be eating... I hate exercising.... I hate heavy lifting. Oh the dilemma.
OK..... I'll try to cut my food intake from this day on. I'll try to go out for drinks ONLY, and no food. I'll try to eat at home first before going out or be tempted to eat a lot more outside. I'll try to eat less high calories food (goodbye oxtail soup, pizza, chicken wings etc) I'll put the dreaded weight on my ankles tomorrow for the extra workout during walking (used to wear them everywhere but decided they were a fuss to take off) I'll try to take less sugar. I'll try to get my new love to join me in this crazy adventure.
The key word here is 'I'll try' :D
Wish me luck, you lucky and skinny buggers!
FYI - Once, a long long time ago, I was 85 kg. :angel
BMI is not the greatest measure of whether you are over weight, as it does not take muscle mass into account - body fat percentage is much better.
Funny, I always thought that the food that you write about sounded really healthy - all that fish done in wonderful sounding ways! But I guess it is the other stuff that gets you.
Rock Chef; To do body fat percentage, I must use that skin caliper, which I did and I am still considered FAT! (Not obese, just a bit overweight). Yes, I try to cook healthy food, but recently I've been going out late almost every evening, eating high calorie food and stuff. Ox tail soup! Bane of my life :P
Skinny people die. So you need to get healthy. Those are some good aspirations. But maybe you should try joining a gym or just running. I can veer off course with all the meat and the alcohol very easily. But I feel physically better, my mood is better, and I control my diet better when I run. Was 50 kgs now hitting 42kgs. Yeah...I'm pretty proud of myself. :)

There's no lucky skinny bloggers out here. Nuh uh. Good luck with your weight loss plan.
Good luck on that big try.
YOu can do it.
Oh, Ox tail soup? I would think that thinking about Ox Tail Soup would remove all hunger pains.

TechnoBabe; No skinny people out there? Gosh! :) Thanks.
Grayquill; Ox tail soup happens to be a delicacy and very very very fattening dish. Ha ha ha!
